Newsletter, Volume 1, Issue 4 - November 2001 Please take the time to read how you can help the Search and Rescue Dogs in New York. Three hundred SAR (Search And Rescue) dogs of all breeds were brought in to find survivors and, ultimately, to find the dead. Two dogs have already lost their lives. These SAR teams are voluntary; handlers pay for their dogs' training, travel, lodging and food expenses. They put themselves and their dogs at risk to save the lives and retrieve the bodies of humans. Please
show your support by helping these dedicated, beloved dogs. Feel free to contact Pet Nutritionist, Darleen Rudnick at darleen@purelypets.com with any questions you have on the content in this issue, or specific health issues for your pet. TABLE OF CONTENTS
